Trip to the dentist

So this was how i looked liked when i smiled...

It was disgusting! The vision of the 3 witches in Macbeth kept appearing in my mind everytime i looked in the mirror. Having a gap like that seriously ages u 50 years instantly. I've never really thought teeth were important cos i grew up with 2 grandparents who had dentures and they looked perfectly normal to me. Even better, u just had to pop them out, throw them into a solution to soak overnight, and just pop them back in in the morning! Haha.

So even when i broke my teeth i wasn't worried. I just thought to myself.. "there're always veneers."

I've just got one tooth temporarily fixed. Took 2 x-rays to see if the nerve was damaged but results were uncertain. So the dentist reccomended that we wait another month or so to see if the nerve dies (hopefully not! or i'd have to go through a root canal procedure)

Even though my tooth is okay for now, there is one BIG difference - I can't feel the bottom half of that tooth! And it's very sensitive - so sensitive i can't use it to bite anymore.. can't imagine what it would be like having a whole mouth of fake teeth O_o

On a side note, dentists seem to earn easy $! My tooth job which consisted of him bandaging my tooth and applying a Plaster of Paris-like substance till my fake tooth formed took a grand total of 2 mins.. and he earned $100++!!!

It generally wasn't a good month for me

I did my nails for Alex's event & loved it at first - pink with grey tips! Till someone told me i looked like i had really dirty nails! O_o"



After they said that i realized it's true! They only look nice close up. So girls, keep the dark tips for your toes! I still have the same nails though, couldn't leave the house to get another manicure.

This pic was taken at the Marina Barrage the weekend it was opened to the public!



It was there that i realized Singaporeans really enjoy lining up for freebies. There was a massive queue which looked like it was 1km long for the shuttle buses. Some people who couldn't stand the wait were lugging their big freebie bags and walked the entire journey from the barrage to the train station OMG. If i were them i would at least throw the bag away.

Up next is a picture of a big storm cloud i managed to capture, which totally depicted my mood that day.



And lastly, all the time spent at home. What did i do? Tried out Wii fitness and got this test result..
